Learning Through Play
Childcare Ages 1-4
Home Childcare: Our childcare program for ages 1-4 is located within our family home. The program supports a group of 6 children ages 1-4 with one educator and follows an interest/nature based Wildschooling curriculum approach.
Small numbers help build a strong relationship with the educator in order to support trust building. Children are encouraged to get messy, test hypotheses, and explore their environment. A strong relationship is developed with the earth and taking care of it’s creatures.
The childcare is presently full and has a waitlist until September 2025
Childminding (Hourly Booked Care)
Our Childminding program is an hourly booked program located in our Daycare space within our home (Children must be enrolled to attend). Six children age 1-12 can join us every other Friday night from 6pm - 11pm, Saturdays from 1pm - 11pm. Dinner and Snacks are included.
Pricing: 11$ per hour per child
Childminding runs September - June 30th
Private Care/Private Share Care
Need us when we're not open? Fill out our private care form. Same fabulous care but open on your schedule! All private care requires an email sent to us for approval a minimum of 7 days prior to the booked date.
Private Care cannot be booked during other programs. Private Care is availabl all year round!

Our Roots
Welcome to Peace of Mind Daycare and Childminding! Peace of Mind Daycare and Childminding is a home childcare created in November 2017. As we grow we have added Parent Night Out and Community Explorers programs to our expanding childcare. . Our goal is to thoroughly support the families we work with and help all children grow and develop. During the day you can expect to see engaging educators on the floor with your children to help them develop their social/emotional, cognitive, language, art, and motor skills. Peace of Mind strives to keep the clinical type Daycare Centre atmosphere out of the environment and instead promotes a comfortable family type atmosphere for the children. Please allow them to wear that Halloween outfit from two years ago, we encourage coming in their pajamas –this is a place for your children to be able to interact as a unique individual, feel safe, and have fun!
